Introduction
We were tasked with designing the user interface and user experience for a mobile app that supports the jewelry inventory system used by Emerald Jewelry Store. The app was meant to simplify how staff access and interact with product data on the go.
Challenge
The main challenge was displaying detailed jewelry attributes without overwhelming the interface. Balancing minimalism with functionality, especially in constrained mobile layouts, required thoughtful structuring of components and flows.
Approach
We designed a clean and intuitive UI that aligns with Emerald’s branding and inventory structure. Our focus was on usability—making it easy for staff to search items, view specifications (like karat, weight, and stone type), and navigate through categories effortlessly, even on small screens.
